Community
involvement is at the heart of what we do at Tuskes Homes. We’re proud to share
that our excavating team is kicking off an exciting new project: building a brand-new
Children’s Activity Area designed to inspire education, adventure, and fun!
The Children’s
Activity Area will be an exciting new way for schools and visitors to learn
about the amazing work the Lehigh Valley brings to our community. From
state-of-the-art facilities to “good old-fashioned fun,” the goal is to invite
more opportunities to see the conservation efforts the Zoo undertakes in
advocating for and protecting species worldwide. Not only will the project
support the animals, but it will also update old exhibits and create new ones.
The project will
be completed in several phases, each bringing new features and experiences to
the zoo for visitors of all ages. This first phase includes a playground designed
with a focus on accessibility so all children can play together in a safe and
inclusive environment. This provides not only activities for the kids but also some
much-needed rest for their caretakers. There will also be the Fred & Anne Jaindl
Barnyard, where visitors will be able to interact with the adorable and friendly
animals year-round.
The Children’s
Activity Area construction is set to open in the Summer of 2027, and there is
much more work to do! The upcoming phase includes the Isaacman Family Education
Center which will host classes, groups, and become the center for education
programs. The final two phases are the most exciting: the much-awaited splash pad
to cool down during the summer and continue to be active as well as a new Marketplace
with food and retail spaces.

project) visit the Lehigh Valley Zoo’s

announcements.
The Tuskes family
and Tuskes Homes team are proud to be a part of creating this new Children’s Activity
Area at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. After all, We Live Here, Too!
Ken and Theresa were looking to downsize after they became empty nesters, and they were thrilled to find a ranch-style home that offered single floor living and a finished basement for additional space.
Retirees Wes and Pam were looking to downsize and built their perfect home in our Sand Springs community.
Kim and Tejus never had any doubts about their choice to build with Tuskes Homes. The home design they chose was perfect for their busy family and provides plenty of space for them to enjoy living at Eagles Landing.
Meet two-time Tuskes homeowners Mary Ann and Jeff, and hear their experiences with the Tuskes Homes team and living in Sand Springs!
